The Wharfedale NOVA 15 is the largest and most powerful model in the NOVA subwoofer range, built for large rooms and high-performance stereo and home cinema systems. A 380mm long-throw driver, 380mm down-firing Auxiliary Bass Radiator, Class-D power and DSP control combine to deliver bass with real weight, headroom and physical presence, extending down to 28Hz.

Maximum Bass, No Port

A down-firing, mass-loaded Auxiliary Bass Radiator with dual-suspension design works with the active driver to extend bass without a reflex port. That means deep, powerful bass from the enclosure with none of the turbulence, chuffing, port compression or resonance a port can introduce.

Balanced Bass at All Volumes

Real-time DSP with Dynamic EQ responds to input level, keeping low-frequency extension balanced across listening levels and source material.

From Music to Cinema

Two DSP modes are available. Music mode prioritises speed, definition and integration with your main speakers for two-channel listening, while Movie mode adds weight, scale and impact for film soundtracks.

Big Driver, Tight Control

Aluminium shorting rings in the motor system reduce inductance changes as the voice coil moves, giving better transient response, improved linearity and lower distortion, even at high output levels.

Power with Precision

A high-current Class-D amplifier rated at 360W nominal and 770W peak controls the 380mm driver with authority, keeping definition and composure even at high volumes.

Flexible Integration

Adjustable crossover, phase and level controls let you match the NOVA 15 to your speakers, listening position and room. Stereo line-level inputs with LFE support, plus speaker-level connections, make it equally at home with an AV receiver or a traditional stereo amplifier. A 12V trigger and USB update port are also included.
