The Wharfedale NOVA 10 is a compact, versatile 10-inch active subwoofer for small to medium listening spaces, stereo systems and discreet home cinema installations. Combining a 250mm long-throw driver with a 250mm down-firing Auxiliary Bass Radiator, Class-D power and DSP management, it delivers deep, controlled bass down to 29Hz.

More Bass from Less Space

A down-firing, mass-loaded Auxiliary Bass Radiator with dual-suspension design extends low-frequency output without a conventional reflex port. That means deeper bass from a compact enclosure, with none of the turbulence, chuffing, port compression or unwanted resonance a port can introduce.

Balanced Bass at All Volumes

Advanced DSP optimises bass output in real time. Dynamic EQ manages the response relative to input level, keeping low-frequency extension balanced across listening volumes and source material.

From Music to Cinema

Two DSP-controlled modes tailor the NOVA 10 to what you're playing. Music mode prioritises speed, definition and seamless integration with your main speakers, while Movie mode adds low-frequency impact and scale for film soundtracks.

Fast, Controlled Bass

Aluminium shorting rings in the motor system reduce inductance modulation, improving linearity and transient response while minimising distortion.

Power with Precision

A high-current Class-D amplifier rated at 260W nominal and up to 500W peak provides the transient headroom needed for both music and movie playback.

Flexible Integration

Adjustable crossover, phase and level controls let you match the NOVA 10 to your speakers, listening position and room. Stereo line-level inputs with LFE support, plus speaker-level connections, make it equally at home with an AV receiver or a traditional stereo amplifier. A 12V trigger and USB update port are also included.
