Pulley Kit for playing 78 RPM records.

The 78 RPM kit contains a different belt and pulley (but does not include an alternative stylus or cartridge), in order to play 78 RPM records on Pro-ject turntables.

Please note that by using this kit you will lose the ability to play at 45 RPM.

You will need a suitable stylus to play 78 RPM records. For more advice, please get in touch.

This kit is for use with the following turntables only:

  • Debut II and Debut III range (except Debut Phono SB)*
  • RPM 5 (any version except the RPM 5 Superpack)
  • Xpression (any version except the Comfort models)

* Please Note: we do not recommend adapting the Debut Carbon turntable to play 78RPM.
