Marking 50 years of British hi-fi excellence, the Arcam A50 Signature is the most ambitious integrated amplifier Arcam has ever built. Developed in collaboration with Arcam co-founder John Dawson — whose signature appears on the rear cowl and PCBs — the A50 Signature is a statement of everything the company has learned about Class G amplification across half a century.

First Fully Dual-Mono Class G Architecture

The A50 Signature is the first Arcam integrated amplifier to use a fully dual-mono Class G architecture. Each channel is a completely discrete amplifier section with its own PCB, output stage, Class G lifter stages, power regulation and dedicated transformer windings. The result is exceptional channel separation and minimal crosstalk — delivering 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms with outstanding control and headroom across a wide range of loudspeakers.

Reference-Grade Digital Conversion

Digital conversion is handled by an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC in fully differential configuration, supported by an ESS reference voltage regulator. Digital inputs include HDMI eARC/ARC, USB-C audio, TOSLINK optical and coaxial S/PDIF. Two-way Bluetooth with Snapdragon Sound, lossless Bluetooth capability and Auracast support complete the wireless picture.

Comprehensive Analogue Connectivity

Three RCA inputs and a balanced XLR input pair cover all analogue sources, while a built-in Class A MM/MC phono stage makes the A50 Signature an ideal partner for turntable users. RS232, trigger input/output and USB service access round out the rear panel.
